Långserud is on the E18 between Oslo and Karlstad, midway between Årjäng and Grums. Vildmarken is signposted from E18 at Ester’s Cafe in Långserud, and on road 175 between Arvika and Nysäter at Gillberga. Coming on E18, look out for Långserud. Here you will find the road sign to Vildmarken, taking you on a small road north for about 5 km. The road is small and curvy, and will convert to a gravel road, but it should not be a problem for a normal car. After approx 5 km there will be a road sign to Finnerud, a sharp turn into a smaller road taking you to the small village Finnerud. When you have passed through the village, stay to the right at the fork in the road and continue for 1,5 km before keeping right up for a gentle incline and you have the hotel at your left.
