About Us

Our Vision

After visiting a fantastic yoga retreat in Spain, a seed was planted in our mind; we should create a similar experience in Sweden. A wonderful place to recharge, meditate, converse and just be.

We found Hotell Vildmarken, a rustic hotel in the deep forests of Värmland, with access to miles of forests and lakes. A place where the silence is soothing, and the night sky is an extraordinary splendor of stars.

We are building a refuge for our guests to enjoy a good life, which we see as the holistic balance of body, mind and soul. At Vildmarken, guests can be close to nature, enjoy delicious, nutritious food, work on the health of their bodies and minds, and relax in community with old and new friends.
Hotel Vildmarken becomes Vildmarken Retreat when we host groups for yoga retreats, family celebrations and team-building getaways for businesses.

We started this journey in 2022 – with loads of love and hours of work, our vision is taking shape. We hope you visit us, whether for an active vacation or a dose of restorative serenity.
